Garth Brooks breaks Saskatchewan, Saskatoon ticket records

Garth Brooks has broken the ticket sales record for the Province of Saskatchewan. The previous record of 80,127 tickets sold was held by the Rolling Stones when they played two shows, October 6th and 8th, 2006 at Mosaic Stadium in Regina. Today Garth has sold over 86,000 tickets for SaskTel Centre and tickets are still selling!

The six concerts will be:

Friday, June 10th 7 PM
Friday, June 10th 10:30 PM
Saturday, June 11th 7 PM
Saturday, June 11th 10:30 PM
Sunday, June 12th 7:30 PM

There is an eight ticket limit per purchase. Tickets can only be purchased at ticketmaster.ca/garthbrooks or either Ticketmaster Express 1-855-985-5500 or 1-855-985-5000.

Tickets cost $68.31 plus a $2 facility fee, $3.42 GST and a $6.25 service charge for a total of $79.98.

Earlier in the day, Brooks broke his own Saskatoon record in 16 minutes. His previous record was set August 14th -15th, 1996, at Saskatchewan Place which is the same building as the SaskTel Centre. He sold 28,144 tickets. He has sold 40,525 tickets for SaskTel Centre and tickets are still selling!
