To call Get Off Easy by Savage Henry and The Infamous One Pounders punk porn as some have described it, is an injustice. Rebellious, energetic, fast, loud, those are all the things that make Get Off Easy rock and roll, not rock and porn.

Will Get Off Easy be for everybody? No! But not everything is meant for everyone. Some of the lyrics are vulgar, filled with cuss words and yes, are even laced with plenty of in your face sexual references. But if you’re looking for an album that doesn’t adhere to the political correctness laws and (with today’s post-election world) fits in with the world we’re bound to be living in for the foreseeable future, Get Off Easy is it’s perfect soundtrack. Is that good or bad? You decide.

It’s clear Savage Henrry And The Infamous One Pounders have influences ranging from AC/DC, Kiss, to the loud and fast guitars of early punk sprinkled into this album. The music is aggressive, heavy on the riffs and gruffy vocals. You get plenty of that in the album’s standout tracks “Big Mama”, “Get My Kicks”, “Tits or GTFO” and in the title track “Get Off Easy.”

It ain’t an album you have on continuous play but it’s a good one to play when you need that extra bit of motivation to get you pumped up.
