‘The Music of Nashville, Season 4, Volume 2’ set for May 13th

Producing a perfect coupling of on-screen and in-studio chemistry, a new soundtrack with cast members from ABC’s Nashville is due out May 13th on Big Machine Records called The Music of Nashville, Season 4, Volume 2. The Nashville experience has garnered excitement from fans since inception as well as rave reviews from music and television critics. Inspiring live events with sold-out tours in 2014 and 2015, music from the show has sold over five million tracks collectively across seven soundtracks and a Christmas album.

The album features tracks from the cast members including Hayden Panettiere (Juliette Barnes), Connie Britton (Rayna Jaymes), Charles Esten (Deacon Claybourne), Will Chase (Luke Wheeler), Aubrey Peeples (Layla Grant), Jonathan Jackson (Avery Barkley), Clare Bowen (Scarlett O’Connor), Chris Carmack (Will Lexington) and more. Jaren Johnston of The Cadillac Three and newcomer Maren Morris have songwriting credits on the project.

“There is something a bit surreal about seeing members of the cast of ‘Nashville’ on stage a couple of hours before you could watch them in a new episode on ABC,” Melissa Ruggieri of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution mused of the live show. “Almost as gratifying as watching the cast perform was witnessing their interaction with each other as they entered and exited the stage. There was always a kiss, a hug or a smile, indicating that, TV drama aside, ‘Nashville’ really is one big, happy musical family.”

Dates for first-ever shows in the UK, beginning in June, are available at gigsandtours.com. Performances will feature Clare Bowen, Chris Carmack, Charles Esten and Sam Palladio.

Nashville airs Wednesdays at 10-11 p.m. ET on ABC. The show broadcasts on six continents and in more than 70 countries, including the United Kingdom.
