The West Hollywood Sunset Strip’s most famous club, Whisky A Go Go, is celebrating its 50th anniversary for the entire month of January 2014.
The legendary club has performances scheduled from January 4th through January 31st from some of the most famous faces to ever grace their stage. Performers include Lita Ford, Wild Child, Robby Krieger of The Doors, X, Buckcherry, Jack Russell’s Great White, Faster Pussycat, Jetboy and more.
An all-star sold out finale featuring Suicidal Tendencies vocalist Mike Muir and guitarist Dean Pleasants, Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo and Jane’s Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins as Infectious Grooves will close out the month long celebration on January 31st.
The World Famous Whisky A Go Go has been an anchor on the Sunset Strip since it opened in 1964. The club has played host to rock ‘n’ roll’s most important bands, from the Doors, Janis Joplin, and Led Zeppelin to today’s up and coming new artists.
