The group is first Koren act to have multiple entries in the Top 10 on the Billboard Pop Airplay chart

BTS extend their reign on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with “Butterremaining at the summit for seven consecutive weeks. The song is also No. 10 on the Billboard Pop Airplay chart, their second song to enter the top 10. This makes them the first Korean act to have multiple entries in the top 10 on the Pop Airplay chart.

It’s also in its seventh week atop the Digital Songs Sales chart and is 21 on Radio Songs and 26 on the Streaming Songs charts. “Butter” marks their longest run in the No. 1 spot as it debuted there seven weeks ago. It’s the groups fourth chart-topping single in less than a year.

The track became the most streamed song in a single day in Spotify’s history, amassing 20.9 million global streams on the first day. The accompanying music video also set a new all time 24 hour record of 108.2 million views and the biggest music video Premiere on YouTube with 3.9 million peak concurrents.

Last week, the GRAMMY nominated band released its new single “Permission to Dance” that is included in the “Butter” CD single box set. “Permission” was written by Ed Sheeran, Steve Mac, Jenna Andrews and Johnny McDaid and produced by Mac, Andrews and Stephen Kirk.

The limited edition CD box set — available on July 9th, the day the BTS ARMY was founded — is available in two versions: Peaches and Cream, and will be distributed at random when ordered online. Instrumental versions of both songs round out the track listing.

August 6th will see the group release The Besta 2 CD compilation featuring Japanese versions of their biggest hits. Several limited edition configurations will be available featuring 23 tracks with a Blu-ray and DVD component containing several “making of” videos. The compilation, released via Big Hit Entertainment in partnership with Geffen and Interscope, contains “Film Out,” “DNA” and their first-ever English language single, “Dynamite,” which saw them become the first Korean pop act to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
