Band scraps shows due to COVID concerns

Nine Inch Nails (NIN) have canceled all of their 2021 tour dates, including appearances at Louder Than Life, Welcome to Rockville, and Slipknot’s Riot Fest. The band shared the news on their socials.

“When originally planned, these shows were intended to be a cathartic return to live music. However, with each passing day it’s becoming more apparent we’re not at that place yet. We are sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment and look forward to seeing you again when the time is right,” they share.

NIN was also set to perform two headlining shows in Cleveland on September 21st and 23rd with the Pixies. Ticketholders need to refer to their point of purchase for ticket information.

Louder Than Life organizers will be announcing a replacement soon, they confirm. Morrissey and special guests will perform in their place at RiotFest.

NIN is among the growing acts to cancel their remaining 2021 tour dates due to the growing COVID resurgence. Last week, Stevie Nicks scrapped all of her shows for the year, while Garth Brooks canceled the remaining five stadium sold out tour dates with hopes to reschedule in 2022.
