2025 Sick New World Festival canceled

The event will no longer happen next year

The 2025 Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas has been canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

“It is with great disappointment that we announce that Sick New World will no longer take place in Las Vegas on April 12, 2025,” promoters shared on social media on Friday (Nov 29th). “Despite our best efforts, we’ve encountered unforeseen circumstances that we are unable to overcome for next year’s show. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the dedicated SNW fans who made plans to join us for another cultural celebration of hard rock, goth, alternative and heavy music. Please stay tuned for further and future information regarding Sick New World.”

Fans who purchased tickets from Front Gate Tickets will be automatically refunded to the original payment method “in as little as 30 days.”

Metallica, Linkin Park, Queens of the Stone Age, Evanescence, and others were set to perform at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.

Many fans are complaining about the bands on the roster along with ticket prices, with one sharing a single-day ticket was $450.

Radio personality Eddie Trunk believes that the band guarantees — that Hits Daily Double reports Metallica and Linkin Park were rumored to receive $5 million each — could be a huge factor in the cancelation.

“All I hear from promoters is how bands’ guarantees are sky-high and going up every year. Which in turn is passed on to you the ticket buyer in pricing of tickets. Factor in more shows than ever on the road and unfortunately you are going to see more of this I fear,” he shares on social media.

Live Nation’s C3 Presents produces the event.
