Savage Mode II lands at No 1

Continuing his unprecedented reign as one of hip-hop’s most elite forces, GRAMMY Award-winning multi-platinum rapper 21 Savage garners over 21 new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In recognition of his sustained success, he picks up four multi-platinum plaques, three platinum plaques, and sixteen gold plaques. Among these, his full-length debut Issa Album was minted platinum, and the GRAMMY Award-winning single “a lot” [feat. J Cole] went quadruple-platinum.

This rounds out a victory lap for 21 Savage who just clinched the No. 1 album in the country — Savage Mode II with Metro Boomin. It launched 13 songs into the Billboard Hot 100 with two — “Runnin” and “Mr. Right Now” [feat. Drake] — in the Top 10.

Platinum and multi-platinum certifications include “Ric Fair Drip” with Offset & Metro Boomin getting 6x platinum status; “Bank Account 5x;” “A Lot” [feat. J Cole] earning 4x; “X” [feat. Future] with Metro Boomin obtaining 3x platinum; and Issa Album, “Can’t Leave Without It,” and “Ball w/o You” each earning platinum.

Gold certifications include “Can’t Leave Without It,” “Ball w/o You,” “Rap Saved Me” [feat.
