Trace Adkins shares ‘What Color’s Your Wild’

The vibrant song’s video will debut on March 5th

Trace Adkins returns with a vivid vocal stunner, sharing a tribute to many shades of passion on “What Color’s Your Wild,” available via Verge Records.

Written by Monty Criswell and Casey Beathard, the hard-driving anthem is dedicated to everything that keeps the excitement and inspiration coming, tapping the wisdom of “different strokes for different folks.” Whether that happens to be painting the town red – or the magnetic pull of an empty canvas – Adkins lets loose in a free-wheeling send-up to whatever makes your heartbeat.

Produced by Bart Butler, electric guitars and thumping drums match the booming baritone of the Louisiana legend as he sings the striking chorus, “What color’s your wild, what cranks the dial on your radio / What moves your needle baby what makes your speakers blow / What makes you crazy like a loving life sugar high, child / What color’s your wild?”

Joining NBC’s Today on Wednesday, March 5th, Adkins will make the TV debut performance of “What Color’s Your Wild” as the accompanying cinematic music video directed by Micah Ellars will premiere on CMT, CMT Music, CMT Equal Play, and the Paramount Times Square Billboard at noon ET and 5 pm ET.

The new release follows last week’s announcement of the headlining What Color’s Your Wild Tour – set to kick off March 29th in Du Quoin, Illinois, but already expanding due to rising fan demand. The trek includes a dozen dates stretching from Minnesota to Florida and beyond.
