The Music Universe is a fast growing music community that covers news, reviews, and exclusive articles on signed and unsigned acts across the globe! It features exclusive articles with some of the world’s best upcoming, unsigned and top acts in music. It was founded by Buddy Iahn in January 2013 after being a fan of several movie review and release websites. Adopting that strategy to music, Iahn added his own spin and wanted to provide a place for all genres of music along with an avenue for music lovers to gather and discuss reviews, news, and other music topics. Iahn is an accomplished drummer who appreciates all styles of music and has lived in Nashville, Tennessee and Los Angeles, California.

Rob Perez has loved music ever since he was in grade school, listening to his AM/FM Cassette Walkman in the morning, then again after school. He began giving his opinion on music in college, first for the long out of print Island Ear based in Long Island, then Right On! Magazine, Nochelatina.com, and several other websites in between. A self-confessed non-music snob, he has praised The Backstreet Boys “Millennium” album as one of the best albums of the 90’s, and has given Selena Gomez her due as a rising artist. But his tastes lies more in alternative, indie, Latin rock, electronica and techno. He’s covered rap concerts, Woodstock ’99, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies, and music conferences. When he’s not listening to Sirius XMU, he’s watching movies of various genres or reading non-fiction books about history or espionage.
