Critically-acclaimed country troubadour Adam Doleac returns with his latest single “Bar Named Jesus” featuring global country superstar Thomas Rhett, independently via Mom and Daddy’s Money. Written by Doleac, Josh Jenkins (Walker Hayes, Muscadine Bloodline, Randy Houser), and Chris LaCorte (Morgan Wallen, Tucker Wetmore, Alana Springsteen), the powerful release explores themes of redemption, forgiveness, and finding solace in faith while discovering a sense of belonging in a place of spiritual refuge – represented as “a bar named Jesus.”
“Bar Named Jesus” is a song about redemption,” says Doleac, “I don’t know anyone who has never made a mistake. In fact, I don’t know anyone who has only made one, or two, or a hundred! We all need second chances, and we all need forgiveness. Jesus is both of those things, and He can meet us anywhere, even if that place is rock bottom. That’s what “Bar Named Jesus” is about, and that’s the message that I hope people hear when they listen. There is NO SUCH THING as too far gone. He never gives up on us, even in the moments that we give up on ourselves. In my opinion, this is the best song I have ever written, and I am so excited that my buddy Thomas Rhett said yes to being a part of this song. It means the world to me to get to sing it with him, and I can only hope the world thinks it is as special as we do.”
Amassing over half a billion streams worldwide, Doleac is poised for a monumental 2025 with “Bar Named Jesus”. The Mississippi native, known for his captivating live performances and heartfelt songwriting, is currently gearing up to release more new music and touring plans later this year.
