Documentary will air in November

A+E has released the trailer for the upcoming four part documentary about Garth Brooks. Garth Brooks: The Road I’m On , part of the network’s Biography franchise, is set to air this November and is dubbed “The Documentary Event of the Year.”

The series highlights Brooks’ prolific career through never-before-seen interviews with Brooks, wife Trisha Yearwood, his original road band and other personal and professional figures. It promises “exclusive unprecedented access from the No. 1 selling artist in history” as a camera crew follows Brooks’ on his record-setting stadium tour that launched in March 2019 with a sold out show in St. Louis.

“If I was ever going to do a documentary on my life and music, I wanted A&E to do it,” Brooks shared from the A+E Upfronts presentation earlier this year. “They have interviewed all the people who would know what the true stories are, so no matter how this turns out … I can’t say it isn’t the truth.”

Garth Brooks: The Road I’m On is produced by Film 45 and Endeavor Content’s nonscripted division for A&E Network.

Actual air dates have yet to be disclosed as of press time.
