Dec 8th and 11th shows canceled
Aerosmith has canceled the final two shows of its Aerosmith: Deuces Are Wild Las Vegas residency. The band shared the news late Wednesday night (Dec 7th), stating front man Steven Tyler needs to remain on vocal rest.
“We are so sorry to announce we are cancelling these last two Las Vegas shows,” their statement reads. “On the advice of doctors, Steven has to set these out. Stay healthy and will see you in the new year.”

The news comes as the group canceled the December 2nd and 5th shows after Tyler became ill unexpectedly.
The band canceled the summer run of residency shows as Tyler entered a rehab facility. The group returned to the stage in September for the final run of dates that ends December 11th.
The residency is the first live concert experience presented in Dolby Atmos. Dolby Live is one of the world’s most technologically advanced performance venues for enjoying live music in Dolby Atmos audio.
Earlier this year, drummer Joey Kramer announced a leave of absence to focus on his family. Three months later, it was announced that his wife Linda had passed away without revealing the cause of death. There’s no word on when Kramer, who’s had several medical setbacks of his own in recent years, will return to the stage. Drum tech John Douglas is currently manning the throne and will be debuting his art at the Animazing Gallery at the Venetian this weekend.
The group is celebrating its 50th anniversary with the 50 Years Live!: From the Aerosmith Vaults, the band’s new “official bootleg” streaming concert series featuring five deep, archival, and unreleased multi-camera live shows from the group’s vast personal vaults. With the entire production of all five concert films supervised by the band, the series features a different concert from each decade which are streaming on their Official YouTube Channel.
