Aerosmith cancels Let Rock Rule tour dates due to illness

An undisclosed illness affecting drummer Joe Kramer is the culprit

Aerosmith has been forced to cancel the Let Rock Rule tour date scheduled for tonight (August 13th) in Concord, CA due to illness.

“Due to illness, Aerosmith has been forced to cancel the Let Rock Rule tour date scheduled for tonight at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, CA,” the band writes on its website. “The band regrets not being able to perform for their fans. Refunds will be available at point of purchase.”

While no further details were revealed, TMZ is reporting that drummer Joey Kramer has suffered from heart complications yesterday (August 12th) causing the band to cancel some upcoming shows.

TMZ also reports that a source close to the band states that Kramer has suffered from heart problems in the past and will undergo heart surgery, but that information could not be confirmed as of press time.

They also state crew members have been told that the show at The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA for Saturday has also been canceled.

We will update as more information becomes available.
