Alanis Morissette cuts new studio version of ‘You Oughta Know’ for Spotify Singles

Spotify has released a studio version of the much-buzzed about 2023 CMT Music Awards performance of the iconic 90s breakup anthem “You Oughta Know” by Alanis Morissette. On the single, Morissette is joined by country stars Ingrid Andress, Lainey Wilson, Madeline Edwards, and Morgan Wade for a new take on the alt-rock classic. In this cover of the Grammy Award-winning hit, Morissette’s signature raspy and passionate vocals are complemented by the power of country music’s rising female stars. With each artist showcasing their own unique style, this version of “You Oughta Know” is sure to connect with those who have loved the song since its original release to new fans who are being introduced to it now.
