The host of Alice’s Attic joins list of industry luminaries recognized for excellence in radio
Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and shock rock pioneer Alice Cooper has been named a nominee for the 2025 Radio Hall of Fame, honoring his decades-long impact as host of the nationally syndicated radio shows Nights with Alice Cooper and Alice’s Attic with Alice Cooper. Cooper is one of 24 legendary radio figures selected for nomination this year by the Radio Hall of Fame Nominating Committee.
“It’s always a thrill to be recognized for doing what you love,” states Cooper. “For decades I’ve told stories on stage, on records and now on the radio – where I interact directly with rock lovers to share deep cuts, lost classics and the kind of behind-the-scenes stories you can’t Google. I’m grateful to The Museum of Broadcast Communications, Radio Hall of Fame Nominating Committee, the industry and listeners for the honor of this nomination.”
Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2011, Cooper was hailed as the “Godfather of Shock Rock” and credited with shaping the glam, hard rock, metal and punk scenes, while his theatrical brand of rock defined a generation. Alice’s Attic with Alice Cooper – distributed by Superadio and currently airing across the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Australia – features a curated mix of classic rock, obscure rock, and an occasional “future classic,” as well as Cooper’s stories and exclusive content, fan interaction and celebrity interviews. The show recently expanded into flagship rock stations, including 95.5 KLOS-FM in Los Angeles and KSHE-FM in St. Louis.
“Alice Cooper is a true original whose voice and persona have shaped rock culture across generations,” shares Superadio president Eric Faison. “His nomination to the Radio Hall of Fame is a recognition of his legacy, not just musically, but in how he connects with his audience through radio.”
Additional nominees include MTV VJ Martha Quinn, Mark “Hawkeye” Louis, and Big D & Bubba.
Voting will close on June 9th, and the 2025 Radio Hall of Fame will announce the final inductees on June 23rd, following a vote by one thousand industry members. The induction ceremony will be held on October 30th in Chicago.
