Alice In Chains announces ‘The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here’

Grunge rockers Alice In Chains have announced details of their new CD, The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here. It’s the follow up to 2009’s Black Gives Way To Blue, the group”s first CD in 14 years and first since the untimely death of singer Layne Staley in 2002.

Dinosaurs will be released on May 14th and will the group’s fifth studio album. It’s the second with new vocalist William DuVall. The group began working on the album in 2011 but work had to be delayed while guitarist Jerry Cantrell underwent shoulder surgery.

“Hollow” is the first single from the album.

AIC start their month long tour April 25th in Miami Beach and make stops in St. Louis, Philadelphia and San Antonio before playing the Download Festival in Donington Park, England on June 15th.
