The concert will air on August 29th
On Thursday, August 29th, Amazon Music will livestream Grammy-nominated, genre-defying duo Sofi Tukker’s City Sessions performance live from Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The performance will see the duo celebrate the release of their new album Bread, in addition to fan favorites. Fans can watch the concert on the Amazon Music channel on Twitch starting at 9 pm ET.
Featuring some of the biggest names performing on intimate stages around the globe, City Sessions is the marquee livestream concert series from Amazon Music. Taking place at unique venues globally, the series features artists from across genres playing new music and discussing their craft with their fans.
Sofi Tukker’s performance follows R&B mainstay Muni Long’s City Session streamed live from Los Angeles last week. Next month, Mexican Music powerhouse Bronco will perform a City Session live from Monterrey, Mexico.
A showcase of the most exciting musical talent, City Sessions has already featured performances from some of the biggest artists in the world this year, including Kings of Leon, Mau y Ricky, Andra Day, The Black Crowes, Glass Animals, and Wallows. Customers can watch previous broadcasts on Prime Video, and additional City Sessions performances will be announced in the weeks to come.
