The season one soundtrack will be available on August 9th
BMG has announced it will release the season one soundtrack to Yo Gabba GabbaLand!, the much-anticipated revival of the Emmy-nominated cultural phenomenon Yo Gabba Gabba!, on August 9th, timed to the premiere of the first season of the series on Apple TV+.
The soundtrack will include appearances by Anderson .Paak, Portugal. The Man, Thundercat, mxmtoon, Local Natives, Lucius, Kurt Vile, Betty Who, Twin Shadow, Ty Segall, The Linda Lindas, Big Daddy Kane, Claud, Cory Wong and Antwaun Stanley, Dayglow, Miyavi, Paul Williams, Prestyn Smith, Reggie Watts, ROMderful, The Drums, and The Interrupters.
In celebration of the announcement, The Linda Lindas has premiered their contribution to the album, “I’m So Happy to Be Little,” an explosive, bite-size bit of raucous rock ’n’ roll, written and produced by the Yo Gabba Gabba! Team. The track is the perfect taste of a soundtrack that will delight children and adults alike. The song appears in the third episode of season one, “Little,” in which the Gabba Friends shrink to the size of shrimps and learn that we’re all “just the right size.”
