The song is from her forthcoming debut album
Gearing up to return to her home state for a performance at Stagecoach later this month, rising singer/songwriter Annie Bosko proves country music isnโt just about where youโre from, but who you are with her latest single โCalifornia Cowgirl,โ available now via Stone Country Records.
โThis song is my way of saying that country is more than a place, itโs a way of life,โ shares Bosko. โI grew up a farmer’s daughter in California, where the values of hard work, faith and family are just as strong as anywhere else. This song is for anyone whoโs ever felt like they had to prove their country roots.โ
As a taste of her forthcoming debut album, โCalifornia Cowgirlโ was produced by Trent Willmon and written by Bosko with Jason Sellers, Terri Jo Box and Lance Miller as a declaration that country girls can be found all over the map.
Currently climbing the charts at country radio, Boskoโs duet โBetter Than Youโ with multi-platinum selling neo traditionalist Joe Nichols landed in the top 5 most-added songs at country radio for five consecutive weeks, including one week before impact date.
Following her RodeoHouston debut last month, where she kicked off opening night with a performance of the National Anthem, Bosko will perform at Stagecoach on the Mane Stage on Saturday, April 26th.
