“Positions,” “34+35,” & “POV” continue to dominate airwaves

Ariana Grande has just made history again. The GRAMMY Award-winning and record-breaking multi-platinum superstar has emerged as The First Artist To Simultaneously Land Three Songs in the Top 10 of the Billboard Pop Airplay Chart and The First Artist To Simultaneously Land Three Songs in the Top 10 of the Mediabase Top 40. These entries include blockbuster singles “Positions,” “34+35,” and “POV” — available on her 2020 album, Positions. Additionally, for a second consecutive week, Grande and The Weeknd currently hold the No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 spot with “Save Your Tears.”

The platinum Positions not only marked her fifth No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200, but it also closed out 2020 on over a dozen year-end lists, including The New York Time, Vogue, USA Today, The Los Angeles Times, Billboard, Complex, The Guardian, UPROXX, and more. It has tallied over three billion streams and counting thus far.

Grande was the first artist to hold the top three Billboard Hot 100 spots since the Beatles in 1964 with “7 Rings,” “Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored,” and “Thank U, Next.” In 2020, she became the first and only artist to have five singles debut at No. 1 in the charts history. At age 27, she has delivered five platinum-selling albums and surpassed 35 billion streams – she’s Spotify’s most streamed female artist of the past decade – while rapidly becoming one of the biggest pop stars of our generation with her powerhouse vocals and unmatched presence both on stage and with her fans. She recently won a GRAMMY for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Rain on Me” with Lady Gaga.

Grande will join the upcoming fall 2021 cycle of NBC’s The Voice as a coach.
