Event is February 27-March 2, 2020 in Dominican Republic

The Avett Brothers, Cloud 9 Adventures, and The Bowery Presents have announced full details for the third edition of their tropical music vacation. After taking a year off, The Avett Brothers At The Beach returns in 2020 with a new destination, the stunning Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

Spanning four nights from February 27th to March 2, 2020, The Avett Brothers will play three full shows with supporting acts Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Emmylou Harris, Shakey Graves, Dawes, Trampled by Turtles, The Wood Brothers, Mandolin Orange, plus Langhorne Slim and The Lost At Last Band each performing one show and solo performances by Valerie June, Sierra Ferrell, and Jim Avett.

“The At The Beach experience is naturally growing to become one of the most enjoyable performance scenarios we and our fans are blessed to take part in,” states Seth Avett. “It’s an event where the joyful spirit of the surroundings actually begins to match the celebration within the souls in attendance. For those interested in our music, it is vacation at its most memorable.”

At The Beach is the ultimate music adventure with shows at three tropical outdoor venues: the main stage in the concert courtyard (complete with craft cocktail bars and specially curated food), the beach stage where fans can enjoy daytime sets from the shore or while floating in the water, and poolside sets for solo acts and select activities. The event curates a full schedule that brings fans and artists together in intimate locations for concerts, activities, workshops, and casual artist encounters. Guests can choose from daily programming options like morning yoga, poolside games, offsite excursions, and theme nights.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana is a luxurious all-inclusive resort set along a white sandy beach on the coastline just 20 minutes north of Punta Cana airport. Guests can choose from a variety of well-appointed room categories within walking distance of the stages, pools and resort amenities with all meals and beverages (including alcohol and room service), plus all concerts and activities included in the event package price. With 13 pools, four swim up bars, nine diverse restaurants, an expansive Spa, top-notch fitness center, breathtaking golf course, and full service Casino, Hard Rock Punta Cana provides the ultimate vacation experience in a remarkable setting. The setting provides something for everyone with plenty of intimate spaces to gather with friends while resort trollies circulate the resort in frequent rotation, providing quick access to any desired location.

The Avett Brothers At The Beach continues its partnership with charitable organization Positive Legacy on a mission to integrate live music and service. Positive Legacy takes actions that positively impact local communities and the environment through various initiatives during At The Beach such as the Day of Service, fundraising auctions, and donation drive that benefit the local community and continue funding ongoing projects in this region.
