Trek starts in May 2022
Avril Lavigne has unveiled the dates for her Bite Me Tour 2022. Lavigne will perform 34 shows throughout the worldwide trek that kicks off February 26th in Amsterdam. Nineteen dates will be played in Europe before performing in 14 markets throughout Canada coast to coast on May 3rd.
“I’m so excited to come home and rock out with you Canada! I can’t wait to see you in person this Spring!” Lavigne shares about the Canadian leg.
Canadian pre-sales start Monday, November 29th at 10 am local time with the public on sale to follow Friday, December 3rd at noon local time. Windsor general on sale is Friday, December 17th at 10 am ET. European dates are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
$1 will be added to each ticket for the Avril Lavigne Foundation, which supports people with serious illness or disabilities.
Lavigne recently signed to DTA Records and released “Bite Me” featuring Travis Barker, her first release of music since 2019’s “Head Above Water.” According to Lavigne, the track is “an anthem about knowing your worth, what you deserve, and not giving someone a second chance who doesn’t deserve you.” New music and a new album will follow in 2022.
2022 also celebrates the 20th anniversary of Lavigne’s iconic and groundbreaking diamond-selling album Let Go.
