AXS TV presents an “Atomic” night of classic rock and roll, putting the spotlight on one of music’s best-loved bands, Blondie, airing Sunday, April 2nd at 10 pm ET/7 pm PT. Since 1974, Blondie has forged a legacy as true music pioneers, fearlessly blending elements of punk, disco, new wave, and even hip hop to create a unique sound that is all their own.
Powered by original members Debbie Harry, Clem Burke and Chris Stein, this unforgettable 80-minute special gives viewers a front row seat as the multi-platinum pop culture trendsetters blaze through a career-spanning set list packed with classic hits and modern favorites, live from WTTW’s intimate Grainger Studio in Chicago. Highlights include powerhouse performances of iconic Blondie signatures such as “Dreaming,” “One Way Or Another,” “Call Me,” “Rapture,” and “The Tide Is High,” as well as newer classics “Rave,” “Gravity,” and “My Monster,” among many others.
The group will release their 11th studio album, Pollinator on May 5th.
