BabyMetal announces 2025 North American headlining tour

Black Veil Brides, Jinjer & Bloodywood will support select dates

Japanese metal band BabyMetal has announced a summer 2025 headlining tour produced by Live Nation with support from Black Veil Brides and Jinjer on select dates, along with Bloodywood. Marking their biggest North American tour yet, the 24-date run kicks off on June 13th in Houston and will hit major cities including Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, and San Francisco before wrapping up on July 23rd in Phoenix.

Tickets and exclusive VIP packages will be available starting with an artist presale underway ahead of Friday, March 21st at 10 am local time.

Over the past two years, BabyMetal has released collaborations with Tom Morello, Bloodywood, and, most notably, Electric Callboy with โ€œRATATATAโ€โ€”a track that quickly amassed hundreds of millions of streams across all platforms. The new collaborations offer a peak into what should be their forthcoming album, following 2023โ€™s The Other One, their first concept album.

In April 2016, BabyMetal became the first Japanese artists to ever headline at the prestigious Wembley Arena in the UK. In June 2019, they performed at one of the worldโ€™s largest music festivals, Glastonbury Festival, and their appearance at this festival made headlines around the world. That same year in September, BabyMetal embarked on their Metal Galaxy World Tour. On October 11th, 2019, BabyMetal had a worldwide release of their third album Metal Galaxy, and on that same day, they had their first U.S. headlining arena show at The Forum in Los Angeles, California. Metal Galaxy ranked No. 13 on the US Billboard Top 200 (Albums Chart), largely surpassing their own record of their previous album, and ranked No.1 on the Top Rock Albums chart for the first time ever as an Asian artist. In the UK Official Charts, the album consecutively ranked in the Official Albums Chart Top 20 from their previous album and ranked No. 1 on the Rock & Metal Albums Chart for the first time in history as a Japanese artist.

In 2021, over a four-month period from January to April, they accomplished a total of 10 headline performances at the Nippon Budokan called 10 BabyMetal Budokan. After a two-year hiatus from live performances, BabyMetal were unsealed for BabyMetal Returns โ€“ The Other One โ€” where they performed at Makuhari Messe.
