“Chase It (MMM Da Da Da)” lands at No. 1 on the dance radio charts
Bebe Rexha claims the top spot on Mediabaseโs Dance Airplay chart with “Chase It (Mmm Da Da Da)” via Warner Records. While she already holds the record for the longest-running No. 1 on the chart with the global smash “Iโm Good (Blue)”ย alongside David Guetta, this is her second solo chart-topper. The banger’s speedy ascent underlines Rexhaโs status as an unstoppable force across genres.
The club smash follows on the heels of the infectious recent single “Iโm The Drama.” Before that, Rexha released her third studio album, Bebe โ a project stacked with hits including โIโm Good (Blue),โ which became the versatile artist’s fourth Billboard top 10 hit, spent a record-breaking 53 weeks at No. 1 at dance radio, earned her a Grammy nomination and amassed over three billion streams. Rexha then reunited with Guetta, teaming up for “One In A Million,” which earned them another Grammy nod.
After building a reputation as a gifted songwriter (she penned Eminem and Rihannaโs โThe Monster,โ among other hits), Rexha began churning out smashes of her own, including multi-platinum G-Eazy collaboration โMe, Myself & Iโ and Martin Garrix-produced club sensation โIn The Name Of Love.โ In 2017, Rexha made chart history with โMeant To Be,โ a country duet with Florida Georgia Line that was certified RIAA diamond for selling ten million copies. The ubiquitous song spent 50 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart, the longest reign ever by a female lead artist.
To date, Rexha has garnered an astounding 20 billion global streams across her catalog and has over 42 million monthly listeners on Spotify. With “Chase It (Mmm Da Da Da)” conquering clubs and more hotly anticipated new music on the way, summer belongs to Bebe.
