Beyoncé breaks Paris records with Cowboy Carter Tour

The three-night run ends with three new records

Last night (Sun, June 22nd), Beyoncé concluded her epic three-night run at Stade de France on the record-breaking Cowboy Carter Tour. The monumental series of concerts grossed over $39.7 million, marking the highest-grossing engagement by any artist in the venue’s history.

Beyoncé’s sold-out Paris shows—held June 19, 21, and 22—also set new all-time records at the venue as the highest grossing single concert in the venue’s history with over $13.2 million per night, and as the top-selling female artist ever at Stade de France with over 215,000 tickets sold.

Throughout the Paris dates, Beyoncé debuted new couture looks from French and international designers including Balmain, Roberto Cavalli, and Ferrari and delivered some of the tour’s most memorable moments to date with a stacked lineup of special guests. On opening night, she brought out Miley Cyrus to perform their hit Grammy-winning duet “II Most Wanted,” marking the first time the pair have performed the song live. On the finale night, husband and rapper Jay-Z joined her on stage to perform “Crazy in Love” and he brought the crowd to a frenzy with “…Paris.” Lebanese precision all-female dance group, The Mayyas, were special guests for night Two and Three with local favorites Les Twin continuing in Paris with their in-sync moves.

The Paris shows followed celebrated multi-night runs in London, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, continuing a tour widely regarded as one of the most ambitious and artistically daring of Beyoncé’s career. Each nearly three-hour performance featured bold reinterpretations of her Grammy-winning Cowboy Carter album, complete with immersive visuals, genre-crossing arrangements, and intricate stagecraft. Up next, Beyoncé will bring the the tour to her hometown of Houston, then proceeding to Washington, D.C., Atlanta, and Las Vegas.

The Cowboy Carter Tour is produced by Parkwood Entertainment and promoted by Live Nation.

Beyoncé continues making her mark off the stage through the BeyGOOD Foundation. During the tour, the Foundation continues its work of helping communities with programs in entrepreneurship, scholarships, disaster response, including helping those affected by the recent wildfires in the Los Angeles, California area. BeyGOOD’s commitment for the Cowboy Carter Tour exceeds $3 million in direct community investment.
