With last nightโs fifth of five scheduled performances at MetLife Stadium, Beyoncรฉ has officially rewritten the record books, closing out a historic run on her Cowboy Carter Tour and becoming the No. 1 artist in MetLife Stadium history across every major categoryโmale or female. Show dates were May 22, May 24, May 25, May 28, and May 29, with one performed in unseasonably cold weather and one in torrential rainfall. Through it all Beyoncรฉ delivered high-energy, masterful performances.
Beyoncรฉ now holds the all-time records at MetLife Stadium for the most concerts performed by a single artist with 12 performances to date; the most shows on a single tour with five concerts on the Cowboy Carter Tour; the highest ticket sales on a single run with over 250,000 tickets sold and highest ticket sales of all-time by a single artist; and the highest grossing shows on a single run and of all-time with over $70,000,000 grossed across the five shows.
The New Jersey residency follows Cowboy Carter Tour’s landmark five-night opener at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and her three-night takeover of Chicago, delivering a tour that critics and fans alike have hailed as one of the most ambitious and artistically significant of her career.
Each nearly three-hour show features high-concept staging, genre-blending reinventions, and bold storytelling inspired by Beyoncรฉโs Grammy-winning album Cowboy Carter. During the most recent 5 shows, Beyoncรฉ debuted new looks from major fashion houses like Burberry, Schiaparelli, Telfar, Gucci, Loewe, Coperni, Diesel, Mugler, Ralph Lauren, Off-White, and more. Next, the superstar tour heads to Europe for another record breaking run with 6 nights at Londonโs Tottenham Hotspur Stadium followed by a special 3 night stint at Stade de France in Paris.
The run is produced by Parkwood Entertainment and promoted by Live Nation.
Beyoncรฉ continues making her mark off the stage through the BeyGOOD Foundation. During the tour, the Foundation continues its work of helping communities with programs in entrepreneurship, scholarships, disaster response, including helping those affected by the recent wildfires in the Los Angeles, California area. BeyGOODโs commitment for the Cowboy Carter Tour exceeds $3 million in direct community investment.
The Cowboy Carter continues with a run of dates in London, Paris, Houston, Washington DC, Atlanta, and Las Vegas in June and July.
