CDs available in France on July 27th
Beyoncé Knowles’ Act 1: Renaissance has leaked two days before its July 29th release date, upsetting her camp and fans. CD copies were available as early as Wednesday, July 27th in France with digital files found circulating online.
“Fans are already purchasing the Beyoncé Renaissance album in France,” one Twitter user shares with photos of the CD’s front and back artwork.
TMZ has shared screen shots from the star’s Beyhive fan club, stating all leaks should be reported immediately.
“Beyhive, now mass report the accounts who spread the Renaissance leaks,” the write. “Don’t share the leaks! Just report on the social media (Instagram or Twitter), report to Parkwood [Entertainment] and block. Don’t worry about sales or anything, that would be fine. Let’s do this and respect our queen.”
In a separate message, the crew berates fans who couldn’t wait until the release date.
“It’s been six years. Two more days, only 30 hours left to wait AND YALL CAN’T DO IT?!?! You’re telling me you can wait six years, but not 30 damn hours. Insane. It’s disrespectful to Beyonce and her HARD HARD WORK. TWO YEARS OF IT. It’s disrespectful to the hive WHO WANTS TO LISTEN WHEN WE ARE ALL SUPPOSED TO ALL TOGETHER,” they continue. “The release date is THIS FRIDAY FOR A REASON. She does not RANDOMLY pick a date.She does this ON PURPOSE.”
The message threatens to take action against any fan caught sharing the leaks.
“You will get blocked, you will be reported, you will be dealt with. You are NOT a real fan OR a part of the hive if you can’t wait and this is what you do because it’s the equivalent of not respecting or seeing Beyoncé. You’re being mean and rude to HER. Your being a FAKE FAN. We ALL want to listen, we’ve been waiting. BUT, we don’t wanna listen EARLY knowing all that Beyoncé worked on it because we want to listen when she wants us to listen [so] we can celebrate with her. We can experience a Renaissance together. YOU DON’T BREAK OUR SOULS BUT WE WILL BREAK YOURS!! Stop this disgusting shit you leakers are doing. Not for us, for your so claimed idol and role model, even though you have no respect for her. Think about it. All the rest of the hive, let’s celebrate together on the 29 and have a Renaissance.”
The album marks Beyoncé’s first in six years and is expected to include collaborations with Jay-Z, Drake, Skrillex, Nile Rodgers, Pharrell Williams, and others.
