Billboard announces 2023 Women in Music Awards honorees

Nine acts will be honored

Billboard has announced that Becky G, Doechii, Ivy Queen, Kim Petras, Latto, Lainey Wilson, Lana Del Rey and Twice will be honored during their annual 2023 Women in Music Awards. The ceremony will take place Wednesday, March 1st at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, CA.

Becky G will be presented with the Impact Award, Doechii with the Rising Star Award, Ivy Queen with the Icon Award, Petras with the Chartbreaker Award, Latto with the Powerhouse Award, Wilson with the Rulebreaker Award, Del Rey with the Visionary Award, and Twice with the Breakthrough Award.

“We’re thrilled to recognize these groundbreaking artists across genres and generations who are defining today’s sound – and paving the way for tomorrow’s women in music,” states Billboard Editorial Director Hannah Karp. “With the inspiring Quinta Brunson as our host, this year’s Billboard Women in Music Awards is going to be an incredible night.”

More performers, talent and the 2023 Woman of the Year recipient will be announced at a later date.

Tickets are available via For the first time, ticket holders can also participate in the American Airlines Plaza for the Billboard Women In Music pre-show experience including photo moments, unique experiences, food trucks and an exclusive pre-show DJ set starting at 4 pm.
