Undeniably one of the most celebrated voices and talent in the Latin Music industry, Luis Fonsi has been confirmed for the Iconic Songwriter Q&A at the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Conference. The panel will be hosted by Sony/ATV Music Publishing, and moderated by Billboard’s executive director of Latin content and programming, Leila Cobo.
The panel, taking place on April 29th at the Ritz-Carlton Miami Beach will focus on Fonsi’s legacy as an award-winning songwriter and dive into the artist’s inspiration for some of his greatest hits.

The award winning singer, songwriter, instrumentalist and producer from Puerto Rico who after 17 years of triumphant artistic career, is considered the Voice of Pop and one of the leading exponents of Latin music. On June 7th, 2014, Fonsi released his eighth studio album entitled 8, which was produced by Grammy award winning Swedish singer- songwriter and producer Martin Terefe (Jason Mraz, Mary J. Blige, Craig David). 8 debuted at #1 in nine countries including the U.S., and has certified two Gold and Platinum records. In 2008, the artist set the record for longest running No. 1 on Latin Pop Airplay – when “No Me Doy Por Vencido” spent 30 weeks at the top of the chart. Luis Fonsi has had 17 songs in the Top 10 and 4 No. 1s on the Latin Pop Airplay chart. He’s also had three albums reach #1 on Top Latin Albums chart, and 7 to break the top 10.
The annual Billboard Latin Music Conference & Awards, now in its 26th year, is the global music industry’s longest running and biggest Latin music event. CNN Español Host Ismael Cala will deliver this year’s opening keynote. The three-day conference taking place April 27-29th at the Ritz-Carlton Miami Beach will also feature the “Star” Q&A with Romeo Santos, and additional panels and sessions with Latin music’s biggest names, including J Balvin, Ivy Queen, Luis Coronel, Nicky Jam, Kevin Ortiz and Jorge Valenzuela. The conference concludes on April 30th with the Billboard Latin Music Awards.
