Billy Idol adds 2025 European tour dates

Idol makes his first UK appearance in three years

Punk rock icon Billy Idol returns to Europe and the UK for a series of summer dates on his It’s a Nice Day To…Tour Again! The trek will begin on June 18th in Germany with stops in Denmark, Austria, Hungary, and Serbia with a special stop at London’s Ovo Arena Wembley on June 24th. The London show comes two days after Idol’s appearance at the Forever Now Festival at The National Bowl, Milton Keynes.

“Every time we play Wembley we have an absolute blast and this summer will be no exception!” Idol says.

These are Idol’s only European shows of 2025 and his first UK visit since 2022.

Idol will be joined by special guests and post-punk legends New Model Army.

Presales are underway with the general sale on Friday, February 21st at 10 am local time.

Last month, Idol announced North American dates on the It’s a Nice Day To…Tour Again! The trek kicks off on April 30th in Phoenix and wraps on September 25th in Los Angeles. Joan Jett and the Blackhearts will support the North American run.

The world’s favorite rebel brings with him his regular touring band featuring his long-time guitarist and collaborator Steve Stevens alongside bassist Stephen McGrath, guitarist Billy Morrison, keyboardist Paul Trudeau, and drummer Erik Eldenius.

Last year, Idol celebrated the 40th anniversary of his landmark sophomore album Rebel Yell with a Deluxe Expanded Edition out now via Capitol/UMe. He also appeared at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inducting Ozzy Osbourne alongside Jack Black, Jelly Roll, Tool frontperson Maynard James Keenan and more.

Idol also recently released the concert film Billy Idol: State Line, a Vertigo Live concert film documenting his April 2023 show at the famed Hoover Dam—the first-ever concert performed at the location. The film highlights the history and significance of the Hoover Dam and includes two unique sets of Billy Idol’s iconic hits: a full band concert at sunset with special guests that electrified and illuminated the surrounding Black Canyon, and an acoustic duo set on the roof of the powerhouse at the foot of Hoover Dam straddling the Colorado River, directly on the Nevada/Arizona state line.
