The countdown to 100 is on!

Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. has announced that by overwhelming demand, legendary musician and MSG franchise Billy Joel has added another show as part of his record-breaking residency at The World’s Most Famous Arena on September 10th. The show will mark Joel’s 94th monthly performance as the “Countdown to 100″ begins – marking the milestone 100th show of the beloved residency that began 10 years ago. The September show will mark Joel’s 140th lifetime performance at The Garden.

Citi cardmembers will have first access to presale tickets for the concert starting Monday, March 27th at 10 am ET. Verizon will also offer an exclusive presale for the September show through the customer loyalty program Verizon Up starting Tuesday, March 28th at 10 am ET. Tickets will be available for purchase by the general public beginning Friday, March 31st at 10 am ET via Ticketmaster. Due to congestion during the on-sale, it can be difficult to purchase tickets right away. Please continue to check Ticketmaster as tickets will be available throughout the day.

In December 2013, Billy Joel was named Madison Square Garden’s first-ever music franchise, joining the ranks of the storied venue’s other original franchises – the New York Knicks and New York Rangers. The record-breaking residency began in January 2014 with Joel playing one show every month at The Garden, “as long as the demand continues,” says Joel.

Joel will join Stevie Nicks for a series of joint co-headlining stadium dates throughout 2023. Nine shows have been announced as of press time which kicked off earlier this month at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and last weekend at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium. The next joint show is set for AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX on Saturday, April 8th before heading to Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA, on Friday, June 16th, Columbus, OH show at Ohio Stadium on Saturday, August 5th, GEHA Field at Arrowhead in Kansas City on August 19th, M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, MD, on Saturday, October 7th, US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Friday, November 10th, and closing at Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ, on Friday, December 8th. Each spectacular one-night-only show marks the first time the two have ever performed on the same stages in each city.

Joel will also headline American Express presents BST Hyde Park in London on Friday, July 7th with Daryl Hall.
