Madison Square Garden Entertainment has announced that music icon and Garden franchise Billy Joel has added a 64th show on June 20, 2015 at Madison Square Garden, which will tie Elton John’s record at the venue for the “most number of performances by any artist.” The June show, part of the Time Warner Cable Concert Series, is the 18th show as part of Joel’s record-breaking residency at The World’s Most Famous Arena.
MSG Entertainment previously announced Joel’s 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th shows, which will take place on January 9th, February 18th, March 9th, April 3rd and May 28, 2015. The January-April shows are currently sold out. Please note, the Thursday, May 28, 2015 performance is subject to change if date conflicts with playoff game.
Citi cardmembers have exclusive access to presale tickets for the May 28th and June 20th shows now through Friday, November 21st at 10 pm via citiprivatepass.com. Tickets for both the May and June shows will be available for purchase by the general public beginning at 10 am (EST) on Saturday, November 22nd via ticketmaster.com and by calling Ticketmaster at 866-858-0008. Tickets will also be available at the Madison Square Garden box office on Sunday, November 23rd at noon. Prices range from $64.50 to $124.50. The concerts are being promoted by MSG Entertainment in association with AEG Live and Q104.3 as a media partner.
In December 2013, Madison Square Garden announced Billy Joel as the first-ever music franchise of The World’s Most Famous Arena joining the ranks of The Garden’s other original franchises – including the New York Knicks, Rangers and Liberty.
