Black Eyed Peas cancel 2025 Las Vegas residency

The band was slated to perform 15 shows starting in February

The Black Eyed Peas has canceled its upcoming 15-date residency in Las Vegas. The iconic rap group was slated to kick off the Black Eyed Peas: 3008 The Las Vegas Residency at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on February 15th.

“To our dearest Peabodies, It is with a heavy heart that, in light of current circumstances, our Las Vegas shows will not be moving forward as planned,” the band shared on its Instagram Stories earlier today (Mon, Feb 20th). “Ticket providers will issue full refunds automatically. Stay tuned for updates on future performances by following us โ€” we canโ€™t wait to see you again.”

The group did not state the reasoning, although fans on social media speculate ticket sales were soft.

For nearly three decades, Black Eyed Peas have shaped the rhythm of culture with their genre-blurring sound that blends hip-hop, pop, electro, and world beats. Formed in Los Angeles in 1995, the trioโ€”will.i.am, Apl.de.Ap, and Tabooโ€”have continuously redefined themselves while leaving an indelible mark on the global music scene.

With six Grammy Awards, 35 million albums, and 120 million singles sold worldwide, the Peas have crafted seminal releases like Elephunk (2003) and The E.N.D. (2009) that catapulted them into one of the biggest acts of their time. Hit singles including “Where Is The Love?,” “I Gotta Feeling,” and “Boom Boom Pow” defined a generation and positioned them as the second best-selling group of all time for downloaded tracks.

In 2020, the band released its eighth studio album Translation featured collaborations with top Lain artists and included chart-topper, “RITMO” with J Balvin, accumulating a record-breaking one billion streams. Their 2022 single โ€œDon’t You Worry,โ€ featuring Shakira and David Guetta was a global success, resonating with fans worldwide. Black Eyed Peasโ€™ ninth studio album Elevation, released in 2022, featured hot singles such as “Simply the Best” with Anitta & El Alfa and “Bailar Contigo” with Daddy Yankee.

Continuing the high-energy on-stage chemistry built over the past 36 months, this exclusive residency will also feature the charismatic vocals of Black Eyed Peas family member JRey Soul.

June 2024 saw the supergroup return with a key contribution to Bad Boys: Ride Or Die, the official motion picture soundtrack to the fourth installment of the Bad Boys film series. The momentum continued to build in 2024, with Black Eyed Peas performing across Europe and North America, including sold-out shows at Parisโ€™s La Dรฉfense Arena.
