This is Black Stone Cherry’s RSD Album. The Band Really Likes Itย hits digital outlets
Black Stone Cherry and Mascot Records have released This is Black Stone Cherryโs RSD Album. The Band Really Likes It to all DSPs. The compilation was released in physical configurations tied to Record Store Day last week. The move has been made to place it on all digital platforms so the broader global fan base can enjoy the repertoire curated for this special release.
In front of RSD, the band shared, โWe are so honored, and excited, to finally have something to offer as a special Record Store Day Release! As vinyl lovers, collectors, and ambassadors for any local record shop out there, this is something we have wanted to do for many years. We have put an incredible collection of songs together for this. Some live, some collaborations, some unreleased! We hope you like it! As the title says, we really do!โ
The collection includes B-sides, covers, live tracks, and previously unreleased songs taken from the bandโs expansive discography together for the first time on a limited-edition vinyl. The new release has been approached as a limited edition run on the physical side with CDs and a limited run of 3,000 white and black smoke marble vinyl available worldwide. Some of these songs were previously released as bonus tracks taken from deluxe configurations of BSCโs catalog. Other tracks are previously unreleased live recordings with Side B featuring the live tracks. This is the first time that all of these tracks will be available in one physical collection.
The release also features the latest version of “Out Of Pocket,” with guest vocals from Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage. The original recording has been streamed five million times, while cumulative plays across all DSPs of the tracks on latest album Screaminโ At The Sky now exceeds 25 million total streams. Total streams for the songs on prior album The Human Condition now exceed 80 million plays.
