Blake Shelton announces free Texas pop up show

The pop up show is only open to patrons 21+

Blake Shelton has announced a free pop up show at Billy Bob’s Texas on Thursday (Sept 20th). The one-night only event will be first come, first served for the first five thousand fans. All attendees must be 21 years of age or older with a valid photo ID.

Wristbands will be distributed for admission. Line up starts at 10 am with line up for doors at 4 pm. Doors open at 5:30 with the show starting at 8:30 pm.

A member of the Grand Ole Opry, Shelton has earned a host of honors throughout his career including 20 ACM nominations and both the male and overall Video of the Year trophies at the 2018 CMT Awards. As a coach for the Emmy Award-winning television show The Voice, Shelton is a six-time champion, most recently with his contestant Chloe Kohanski. Off stage, Shelton has teamed up with Ryman Hospitality to open a string of Ole Red entertainment restaurant venues, a nod to his 2001 hit of the same name. The first location in his hometown of Tishomingo, OK opened in September 2017, while the space on Nashville’s lower Broadway hosted a week-long grand opening in June of 2018. Locations in Gatlinburg, TN and Orlando, FL are due to follow.

Billy Bob’s Texas is known as the world’s largest honky tonk. It hosts over 200 live music concerts annually and is home to live bull riding, private and corporate events, authentic Texas cuisine, and retail store; all in a world class, authentic Western venue in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards.
