Blake Shelton, Gary LeVox star in Carly Pearce video

Superstars & Industry Hitmakers Endorse the ACM Awards New Female Vocalist Nominee

Long before her ACM Awards nomination for New Female Vocalist of the Year was announced last week, Carly Pearce found favor in some of the industry’s biggest hitmakers. Superstars Blake Shelton and Rascal Flatts’ Gary Levox, who’ve invited her on their tours this year, reversed roles and helped “open” the singer’s performance for country radio programmers nationwide during the annual CRS New Faces show. The comedic video plays off her latest single “Hide The Wine” with a plethora of insiders endorsing her talents and calling out stats.

From LeVox’s “Hurry up and get done with the Blake thing so you can get on a real tour” to Shelton’s one-upping magnum bottle of red, the light-hearted jabs and history-making stats are anything but hidden in this full-bodied clip.Big Machine Records General Manager Jim Weatherson offers the first congratulatory bottle for Pearce’s chart-topping lead single as Vice President of Promotion Kris Lamb touts she is one of only three females in the past twelve years to score a debut No. 1.

CMT Senior Vice President of Music Strategy Leslie Fram beams that Pearce is beacon of light for every female artist, especially the Next Women of Country while SiriusXM Senior Director of Programming J.R. Schumann reminds audiences of her success across their platforms: Highway Find, three consecutive No. 1 singles on The Highway and all-genre “Class of 2017.” iHeartCountry SVP Programming and Brand Manager Rod Phillips raved of the On the Verge artist before Pearce hands her hull off to Big Machine Records Director of SE Promotion AJ Calvin.

Pearce has gracefully navigated the last year with a joyful focus, continuing to prove why the title of New Female Vocalist of the Year couldn’t be more fitting. Leading into the ACM Awards – broadcasting from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas April 15th on the CBS Television Network – Pearce will carry “the torch for women in country music.” She is the only female on three male tours – Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan and Rascal Flatts – in addition to dates with Thomas Rhett this year.
