Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani set ‘Happy Anywhere’ for July 24th

New single will premiere on NBC’s TODAY

Whether he’s in the hills of Hollywood for The Voice or relaxing on the rolling plains in his home state of Oklahoma, Blake Shelton proves that he can be content if his partner is by his side in his new single “Happy Anywhere.” The loving, feel-good tune written by Ross Copperman, Josh Osborne and Matt Jenkins once again teams Shelton up with his real-life love, Gwen Stefani. “Happy Anywhere” is due this Friday, July 24th and will impact country radio immediately. The song will make its TV debut on release day during the 8 am hour of Shelton’s appearance on the TODAY Summer 2020 Citi Music Series on NBC.

“Even though Gwen and I just had a single out we decided that, under the circumstances, this year… man, there’s never been a better time for ‘Happy Anywhere,’” Shelton shares. “We’ve all been in quarantine and lockdown, and hopefully we’ve been doing that with somebody that we really love and enjoy being around. That’s what happened with Gwen and me this summer – and this entire year.”

“Happy Anywhere” follows Shelton and Stefani’s platinum-selling, multi-week chart-topper “Nobody But You.” Shelton’s 27th career No. 1, the “soaring power ballad” (Rolling Stone) has achieved nearly 150 million streams to date and more than 1.3 million track equivalents. The duet, featured on his massive Fully Loaded: God’s Country album, launched to No. 1 on the iTunes country chart upon release and skyrocketed to the top of the Billboard Country Streaming Songs chart. The duo performed the song on the 62nd GRAMMY Awards, a collaboration that Billboard described as “Shelton and Stefani [showering] the Staples Center with endless love.”

This summer, Shelton is spreading love another way: he recently announced that he will partner with Encore Drive-In Nights to host a one-night-only concert event on July 25th. The experience will include cinematic interviews with and all-new performances from the entertainer as well as special guests Stefani and Trace Adkins. Tickets are on sale now.
