‘Blake Shelton Live’ EP streaming Aug 25th

No word if Blake Shelton Live will be available as a download or in physical form

Blake Shelton has announced Blake Shelton Live, a live EP featuring six of his biggest hits, for streaming on August 25th via Warner Brothers Nashville. The six songs are from Shelton’s surprise CMA Fest appearance in Nashville this summer. Tracks includes “All About Tonight,” “Honey Bee,” “Ol’ Red,” “Home,” “Boys ‘Round Here” and “A Guy With A Girl.”

Shelton has performed sold out shows on his Doing It To Country Songs Tour that kicked off in February with NBC The Voice season 11 champion Sundance Head and season 2 contestant, label-mate and Pandora’s 2017 “Ones To Watch” artist RaeLynn. The massive North American tour wraps September 16th with an appearance at the American Kickoff in Colorado Springs.

Shelton has achieved 24 No. 1 singles at country radio with 5.4 billion impressions in the last year. Shelton kicked off 2017 with “A Guy And A Girl” hitting No. 1, followed by “Every Time I Hear That Song.” The tracks are his third and fourth singles from his latest album, If I’m Honest, which was released in May 2016.

From 2010-2016, Shelton scored 17 consecutive No. 1 hits. He broke Brad Paisley’s consecutive chart topping record of ten in a row from 2005-2009 with “Doin’ What She Likes” in 2014. That record stalled when If I’m Honest‘s second single, “She’s Got A Way With Words,” peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart in September 2016.

Shelton will be back in the Coach’s Chair this fall with Adam Levine, Jennifer Hudson and Miley Cyrus on NBC’s three-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series The Voice. Season 13 kicks off Monday, September 25th with a two hour season premiere, following an hour long Tuesday night show on September 26th.

In May, Shelton announced that Kelly Clarkson would be joining as a judge on the show’s 14th season next year. Adam Levine will also be on board with an unannounced fourth judge to be named later.
