Gatlinburg, TN and Orlando, FL are the next two planned locations

Blake Shelton and Ryman Hospitality Properties are set to open two more Ole Red Locations in the next couple of years. The third property is set to open in Gatlinburg, TN in April 2019 with the fourth entertainment complex to open in Orlando in the first half of 2020 with construction slated for late 2019.

Ole Red Gatlinburg will be a $9 million, multi-level 16,000-square-foot entertainment venue with a two-story bar and restaurant, retail area, performance space, dance floor and exterior terrace. Its chef-driven, Shelton-inspired menu will feature a few Nashville classics like Hot Chicken & Waffles as well as BBQ, burgers and additional Southern favorites.

“With 12 million annual visitors and a rich country music legacy, Gatlinburg is an ideal destination for the Ole Red brand,” states Ryman Hospitality Properties Chairman and CEO, Colin Reed. “We know the Smoky Mountain region is tremendously popular with country lifestyle consumers, and we believe Ole Red offers a unique entertainment experience that will attract even more visitors to the area.”

The venue will be equipped with state-of-the-art performance equipment including concert-level production and sound capabilities, along with LED screens throughout the space. Programming will include curated concert line-ups, showcases for up-and-coming talent and more to be announced as the venue nears completion.

“Gatlinburg is one of my all-time favorite places,” notes Shelton. “This part of the country is full of people who love good food, great music, family and most importantly, a good time. That’s what Ole Red is all about, and I can’t wait to give my fans another place to have fun in Gatlinburg.”

Inspired by country music superstar and Opry member Blake Shelton’s satirical hit “Ol’ Red,” Ole Red Orlando will bring the best of southern food, hospitality and live country music to one of the nation’s most exciting tourism markets.

“We are delighted to expand the Ole Red dining and live country music experience to the top tourism destination in the country,” Reed says. “The development site we have identified is in a prime entertainment zone that will put the Ole Red brand in front of the more than 70 million people who visit Orlando each year.”

Located at the ICON Orlando 360 development, the planned $15 million Ole Red Orlando project is expected to be approximately 15,000 square feet over two levels and will seat approximately 500 guests. The venue will feature live music with state-of-the-art acoustics and lighting for a concert-quality music experience as well as indoor and outdoor private event areas and a striking view of the complex’s 400 foot observation wheel, ICON Orlando. Once complete, the venue will join Ole Red locations in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, Nashville, Tennessee and Gatlinburg, Tennessee (opening spring 2019). Though all locations fall under the same name, each Ole Red venue features unique menu items and specialty cocktails, making each location a different yet exciting experience for guests.

“We’ve brought Ole Red to some of my favorite places, and I’m excited to have another spot for country music fans to have fun with their friends and family,” Shelton claims. “I think it’s impossible to visit Orlando and not have a good time, and that’s why I know Ole Red is going to fit right in.”
