With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, Warner Music Nashville superstar Blake Shelton is showcasing the foundation of priceless love in the official music video for his current single “Minimum Wage.” Directed by Todd Stefani, the performance-centered video premiered Friday, February 12th across CMT platforms.

“We had a lot of COVID protocol in place for this video,” states Shelton. “I really felt like the video needed to be a live performance, so we had a few fans at Ole Red in Tishomingo. Of course, everyone had to be pre-tested and re-tested and temperature checks and social distance. I’m still amazed by the camerawork and how it looks like Ole Red is packed with people knowing there were just a handful of people actually on site. Gwen’s brother Todd captured exactly what I wanted to it to be.”

Written by Nicolle Galyon, Corey Crowder and Jesse Frasure, “Minimum Wage” is already Top 30 and climbing at country radio after just four weeks.

This Valentine’s Day, Shelton will celebrate his love for country music as the host of the upcoming NBC special Grand Ole Opry: 95 Years of Country Music, airing this Sunday, February 14th at 9 pm ET. Shelton will return to NBC on March 1st with the premiere of the milestone 20th season of The Voice while he is also hard at work in the studio recording new music set for release later this year.

“Minimum Wage” follows back-to-back love songs with his fiancé and fellow The Voice coach, Gwen Stefani. “Nobody But You” and most recently “Happy Anywhere” both reached No. 1 on the country airplay charts, giving them consecutive No. 1 singles together and bringing Shelton his 28th career chart-topper.
