Both tracks have been previously unreleased
Bob Dylan will be releasing the song “Wigwam” on a 7″ single with a B-side of “Thirsty Boots” as part of Record Store Day 2013. Released on the heels of his well-received new album Tempest from last fall, both of these tracks are previously unreleased.
“Wigwam” originally came out on Dylan’s 1970 album Self-Portrait. This version will be an earlier version without any brass accompaniment. “Thirsty Boots” also dates from the Self-Portrait sessions, and is a song written by Eric Andersen.
This release is thought to be in anticipation and promotion of Dylan’s yet-to-be announced Bootleg Series Volume 10.
