Bon Jovi announces 2022 Tour

The band returns to the road after two years

Bon Jovi will be hitting the road in 2022. Jon Bon Jovi announced the news in a special fan club video stating the world will know more on Friday (Jan 7th), but that it was okay to share immediately.

JBJ shared the first month of dates for Bon Jovi 2022 Tour which kicks off April 1st in Omaha. Stops in Milwaukee, Tampa, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Houston, Dallas and others before an April 30th show in Nashville. The tour is produced by Live Nation and JBJ’s Hampton Water.

“We have all missed touring and we know that nothing can replace the energy of a live show for the fans or the band,” Bon Jovi shares.

Tickets will go on-sale to the general public for most markets beginning Friday, January 14th at 10 am local time via Ticketmaster. The JBJ Experience member pre-sale will begin on Tuesday, January 11th at 10 am local time. VIP packages will be offered.

The band was among the first to cancel their 2020 tour due to the pandemic. This allowed for the money to be returned to the fans in the time of need instead of being held for future rescheduled dates.

“Given these difficult times, we have made the decision to cancel the tour entirely,” Bon Jovi said at the time of the cancelation announcement. “This will enable ticketholders to get refunds to help pay their bills or buy groceries. These are trying times. You’ve always been there for us and we’ll always be there for you. We look forward to seeing everyone again on tour when we can all safely be together. We will continue to send out news and updates on Bon Jovi touring in the weeks and months to come.”

In October 2021, JBJ refunded fans on the Runaway with JBJ Halloween weekend getaway in Miami following a positive COVID-19 test that prevented him from finishing the event. JBJ was forced to cancel a solo band performance moments before he was set to take the stage on October 30th. His rep said he was “fully vaccinated” at the time and made a full recovery.

At the start of the pandemic, Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan tested positive as well. He quickly recovered after isolation.
