Bon Jovi postpones Montreal shows due to flu

Both shows have been rescheduled for May

The flu has caused Bon Jovi to postpone two shows in Montreal this week. Both their April 4th and 5th shows at the Bell Centre have been postponed due to illness.

“Unfortunately due to band and crew members being affected by the flu epidemic, the Bon Jovi  April 4th and 5th performances at the Bell Centre in Montreal have been rescheduled for May 17th and 18th. Tickets for the April 4th concert will be honored on May 17th and tickets for the April 5th concert will be honored on May 18th. We apologize for the inconvenience,” the band writes.

The band is in the midst of the 2018 leg of their This House Is Not For Sale 2018 Tour. As of now, the tour is set to resume this weekend at Newark’s Prudential Center. Next week, the band will head to Cleveland where it will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by shock jock and close friend of Jon Bon Jovi, Howard Stern.

The 33rd annual induction ceremony is set to take place on April 14th and will be broadcast on SiriusXM as well as HBO on Saturday, May 5th at 8 pm ET/PT. Joining Bon Jovi on the Rock Hall’s 2018 roster are Dire Straits, the Moody Blues, the Cars, Nina Simone, and Sister Rosetta Tharpe who is set to receive the Award for Early Influence.

Bon Jovi topped the 2018 Fan Vote Winners with 1.16 million votes. The group is expected to reunite with former guitarist Richie Sambora and former bassist Alec Jon Such for a performance of some of their biggest hits.
