The song appears on its latest album
Bon Jovi has released “The People’s House” featuring country duo The War and Treaty. The black-and-white video features frontman Jon Bon Jovi singing with the duo throughout Nashville, including the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge where Jon helped save a woman from jumping into the Cumberland River last month.
The clip, directed by Bojan Vanovac and produced by Laura Vanovac and Vano Projects, also features snippets of ordinary people lip-syncing to the uptempo song.
“The People’s House” is the latest track from the band’s 16th studio album, Forever, released in June via Island Records. The album features the blockbuster single “Legendary” along with “Living Proof.” Upon its release in March, “Legendary” vaulted to the top of the Billboard Digital Song Sales Chart and No. 2 on the Rock Digital Song Sales Chart, climbing to the Top 20 on the Adult Pop Airplay Chart.
The band is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2024 with several projects, including the 40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of its debut album, expanded with 18 tracks of rare audio, a limited edition 2 CD set of Slippery When Wet with rare content, and Hulu docuseries, Japanese-only box set, Forever book, and more.
In June, the band opened JBJ’s Nashville in Nashville’s Lower Broadway honky-tonk bar district. Positioned to stand out amid traditional bars on the strip, JBJ’s towers as the tallest and second largest bar by square footage, boasting 37,000 square feet dedicated to a rock ‘n’ roll revolution along with carrying forward the roots of country music from Nashville’s storied history.
