The Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has been rescheduled from June to September 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Organizers shared the news on social media on Wednesday (March 18th).
“Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival will be rescheduled to take place September 24-27, 2020 out of an abundance of caution and for the health and safety of all Bonnaroovians, artists, staff and our community,” they write.
“All current tickets and onsite accommodations (camping, tent rentals, RV, etc.) will be honored for the new weekend. Fans with off-site accommodations and shuttles purchased through the festival will be contacted directly with updates.
“Rest assured, we will share updates as quickly as possible via email, our website, and on our social accounts.
“Please continue to radiate positivity through this uncharted time in our world. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you on The Farm this fall.”

The internationally acclaimed four-day multi-stage camping festival was initially scheduled for June 11-14th at Great Stage Park, the spectacular 700-acre farm and event space located just 60 miles southeast of Nashville in Manchester, TN.
2020 marks the earliest sell out in the festival’s 19 year history as all four-day general admission, elevated general admission, and VIP tickets were gone in record time.
The 2020 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival will once again present an extraordinarily diverse bill featuring top artists spanning countless genres and stylistic approaches performing around the clock across more than ten unique stages over the four-day event. Tool, Miley Cyrus, Bassnectar, The 1975, Run The Jewels, Lizzo, Flume, Tenacious D, Tame Impala, Lana del Rey, Vampire Weekend, Leon Bridges and Grand Ole Opry are among the 2020 headliners. No word if the lineup will change.
Every major concert, festival and event have either been postponed or canceled due to the pandemic the World Health Organization (WHO) declared last week. More than 200k cases have been reported in 110 countries with nearly 9k deaths. More than 84k people have contracted and survived the virus that was discovered last year.
Last week, U.S. President Donald Trump declared a 30 day travel ban to European countries, where the coronavirus has shut down Italy and France. He shares, “I am confident by counting and continuing to take these measures we will significantly reduce the threat to our citizens and we will ultimately and expeditiously defeat this virus,” per Fox News. The virus is spreading at a rapid pace, forcing schools and businesses to close throughout the nation.
