Boy George & Culture Club announce one day only cinema event

One World, One Love will stream around the world

The legendary Boy George & Culture Club are celebrating the 40th anniversary of their triple Platinum Colour By Numbers album with a special one-day-only event for their fans. For the first time ever, Boy George & Culture Club’s epic live show from Los Angeles will be streamed to cinemas across the globe on February 25th.

Fans in Europe, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Sinapore and Thailand will be able to experience the event. It’s unclear why, but cinemas in US, Canada and Mexico will not be able to participate in this event.

Boy George & Culture Club: One World, One Love will bring fans together to enjoy a hit-packed, career-spanning set on the big screen from the comfort of their local cinema.

“Having played thousands of concerts worldwide, I’m thrilled that we have the technology now to allow us to bring our electrifying performances directly to the cinemas live across the globe,” Boy George shares. “This will be a truly amazing experience for our fans!.”

The event will be a delayed live performance, with many participating UK cinemas offering two screenings at 5 pm and 8:30 pm local time.

The iconic group featuring frontman George, bassist Mikey Craig and guitarist Roy Hay will take on the Las Vegas Strip for three shows this weekend at the Wynn Encore Theater. The trio will perform with a 13-piece orchestra on February 15th, 18th and 19th.

Boy George’s unmistakable voice guided the group of ethnically diverse musicians into selling 100 million singles and 50 millions albums worldwide and winning a Grammy Award. The band’s career spans 40 years of new-wave pop and soul songs such as “Karma Chameleon” and “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me.”
