Country music superstars Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are set to return as hosts for the 47th Annual CMA Awards set for November 6th on ABC. The announcement was made during Monday night’s (Aug 12th) broadcast of CMA Music Fest: Country’s Night To Rock on ABC.
This will the duo’s sixth consecutive time hosting the show which is recognized as “Country Music’s Biggest Night.”
Nominees and winners are determined through several rounds of ballot voting that the CMA sends out to more than 7,000 of its professional industry members. The final nominees in each of the ceremony’s 12 categories will be announced in September with the winners being revealed during the televised show.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, September 14th at 10 am CDT at Ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster outlets and range from $131.17 to $479.81 each including all taxes and fees.
The 47th Annual CMA Awards airs live from the Bridgestone Arena in Downtown Nashville on Wednesday, November 6th from 8-11 pm ET/PT on ABC. Check local listings.
