Country singer dedicates track to wife and daughter

Multi-Platinum selling country rocker Brantley Gilbert will be the first to admit he still finds it challenging to talk to girls – especially his childhood sweetheart-turned-wife Amber and daughter Braylen.

“I’ve known Amber since we were kids. I’ve been married to her for six years now, and I’m still in awe of her. Then my daughter came along, and I realized I still struggle to find the right words to say to the girls I love,” Gilbert shares.

Despite his struggle to find the right words, the Georgia-native delivers some touching insight into his unconditional love for his family with his new song via The Valory Music Co. “How To Talk To Girls,” co-written with Brock Berryhill, Brian Wayne Davis, Brandon Day, Chase McGill, Josh Phillips, Taylor Phillips and Michael Ray.

“When I get stumped or have a moment when I can’t exactly find the words, I’ve always been one to go back and think about it, and a lot of times, a song comes out of it,” Gilbert shares. “The more specific I am as a writer, the more I hear other folks say ‘Man, I feel the exact same.’ When it comes to family, the love I have for my wife, son and daughter is simple and straightforward, but getting across how deep it goes is the hard part, and I think that’s something we all share.”

The Worst Country Tour of All Time continues tonight (Fri, Nov 19th) in Charleston, WV, followed by 10 more opportunities to catch Gilbert live in North America before the end of 2021.
